Better World offers local and sustainable fare “to help make a better world where all can eat.” Beyond that, it’s hard to capture Better World in words. They are somewhere between a luncheonette, a community kitchen, a social enterprise, and a cafe. While recommended prices are given, you pay what you can for your food; and the food is phenomenal! The chefs prepare simple dishes with magnificent flavor and source as much as they can seasonally and locally (or, if that’s impossible (as in pineapples and coffee), through Fair Trade organizations).

Their drip coffee is served in recently brewed airpots, while they pull excellent shots on a brand spanking new La Marzocco Linea GB5.
